ICAR - Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Namakkal is a peripheral unit of Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chennai with funding of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi functioning since 13.10.2004. Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Namakkal, is a centre for transfer of technologies from lab to various groups like Farming Community, Self Help Groups, Rural Youths, Extension Personnel etc., through organizing various events like Trainings, On Farm Testing, Front Line Demonstrations and Advisory services regularly.
